حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ: نَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَرَآهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَشْعَثَ أَغْبَرَ فِي هَيْئَةِ أَعْرَابِيٍّ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: مَا لَكَ مِنَ الْمَالِ ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ قَدْ آتَانِي اللهُ. قَالَ: " فَإِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا أَنْعَمَ عَلَى الْعَبْدِ نِعْمَةً أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُرَى عَلَيْهِ

✧ He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw him disheveled and dusty in the appearance of a Bedouin. He said to him: What wealth do you have? He said: Allah has given me every kind of wealth. He said: "When Allah bestows a blessing upon a servant, He loves to see its trace on him."
