حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: أَيُّكُمْ أَصْبَحَ صَائِمًا ؟ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَنَا. قَالَ: " أَيُّكُمْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا ؟ " قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَنَا، قَالَ " أَيُّكُمْ شَيَّعَ جِنَازَةً ؟ " قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَنَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " هَنِيئًا، مَنْ كَمُلَتْ لَهُ هَذِهِ بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to his Companions: “Which of you woke up fasting this morning?” Abu Bakr said: “I did.” He said: “Which of you visited a sick person?” Abu Bakr said: “I did.” He said: “Which of you followed a funeral procession?” Abu Bakr said: “I did.” Then the Prophet ﷺ said: “Congratulations! Whoever completes these, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
