✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode a horse and was thrown from it, and his right side was scraped. He prayed one of the prayers with us one day while sitting, and we prayed behind him sitting. Then when he said the salam, he said: “The imam has only been appointed to be followed. When the imam prays standing, pray standing; when he bows, bow; when he rises, rise; when he prostrates, prostrate; and when he says, ‘Allah hears the one who praises Him,’ say, ‘Our Lord, and to You be praise.’ And when he prays sitting, then pray sitting, all of you.”
