وَبِهِ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ:
بِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَكْرًا، فَجِئْتُ أَتَقَاضَاهُ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَقْضِنِي ثَمَنَ بَكْرِي، فَقَضَاهُ بَعِيرًا مُسِنًّا، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ بَكْرِي، فَقَالَ: هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ، إِنَّ خَيْرَ الْقَوْمِ خَيْرُهُمْ قَضَاءً
Translation

✧ I sold the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a young camel, then I came to collect its price. I said: O Messenger of Allah, pay me the price of my young camel. He paid me with an older camel. I said: O Messenger of Allah, this is better than my young camel. He said: It is better for you; the best of people are those who are best in repayment.
