✧ He used to trade in wine during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He came from Syria with wine in skins, intending to trade. He went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I have brought a good drink.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “It has been forbidden after you.” Kaysan said, “Should I go and sell it, O Prophet of Allah?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “It has been forbidden, and its price has been forbidden.” So Kaysan went to the skins, took hold of their legs, and poured them all out.
