حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا مُقَدَّمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَمِّي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَعْرَابِيٌّ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، فَشَرِبَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَعْطِهِ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، فَأَعْطَاهُ الْأَعْرَابِيَّ، وَقَالَ: " الْأَيْمَنُونَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a drink, and on his right was a Bedouin, and on his left was Abu Bakr. He drank, then 'Umar said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, give it to Abu Bakr.' But he gave it to the Bedouin, and said: 'The right-hand side, then the next right-hand side.'
