حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ قَالَ: نَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ أَبِي أُمُّ عَبْدِ اللهِ بِنْتُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، يَقُولُ:

سَأَلْتُ أَبِي عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ: أَيُّ شَيْءٍ تَذْكُرُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: إِذْ أَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ " أَخَذَنِي وَأَنَا خُمَاسِيٌّ أَوْ سُدَاسِيٌّ، فَأَجْلَسَنِي فِي حِجْرِهِ، وَمَسَحَ رَأْسِي بِيَدِهِ، وَدَعَا لِي وَلِوَلَدِي مِنْ بَعْدِي بِالْبَرَكَةِ

✧ I asked my father Abd Allah b. Utbah b. Mas'ud: What do you remember of the Messenger of God ﷺ? He said: I remember that he took me when I was five or six years old, seated me in his lap, wiped my head with his hand, and prayed for blessing for me and for my descendants after me.
