حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، قَالَ: نَا سَعْدٌ، قَالَ: نَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زَيْدٍ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ، قَالَ:

كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ فِجَاجِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَسَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَتَهَجَّدُ وَيَقْرَأُ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَاسْتَمَعَ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَا فِي الْقُرْآنِ مِثْلُهَا

✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ in one of the mountain passes of Madinah when he heard a man praying at night and reciting the Mother of the Qur’an. The Prophet ﷺ stood and listened until he finished it, then said: “There is nothing like it in the Qur’an.”
