حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ مُفَضَّلِ بْنِ مُهَلْهِلٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ مَعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَإِذَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ مُسْتَنِدٌ إِلَى حُجْرَةِ عَائِشَةَ، وَأُنَاسٌ يُصَلُّونَ الضُّحَى، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ: أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ ؟ قَالَ: بِدْعَةٌ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ:

يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، كَمِ اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ: أَرْبَعٌ، إِحْدَاهُنَّ فِي رَجَبٍ، وَسَمِعْنَا اسْتِنَانَ عَائِشَةَ فِي الْحُجْرَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهَا: إِنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعًا، إِحْدَاهُنَّ فِي رَجَبٍ، فَقَالَتْ: يَرْحَمُ اللهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، مَا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مَعَهُ، وَمَا اعْتَمَرَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَطُّ

✧ O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, how many times did the Prophet ﷺ perform 'Umrah? He said to him: Four, one of them in Rajab. We heard the sound of 'Aishah's toothstick in the room, so he said to her: Abu 'Abd al-Rahman claims that the Prophet ﷺ performed 'Umrah four times, one of them in Rajab. She said: May Allah have mercy on Abu 'Abd al-Rahman. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed 'Umrah except when he was with him, and he never performed 'Umrah in Rajab at all.
