حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ قَالَ: نَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ قَالَ: نَا عِيسَى بْنُ سَوَادَةَ أَبُو الصَّبَّاحِ النَّخَعِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ قَالَ:
مَرِضَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَرْضَةً ثَقُلَ مِنْهَا، فَجَمَعَ إِلَيْهِ بَنِيهِ وَأَهْلَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ حَجَّ مِنْ مَكَّةَ مَاشِيًا، حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهَا، فَلَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ سَبْعُمِائَةِ حَسَنَةٍ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِ الْحَرَمِ "، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: وَمَا حَسَنَاتُ الْحَرَمِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ فَقَالَ: " كُلُّ حَسَنَةٍ مِنْهَا أَلْفُ حَسَنَةٍ

✧ Ibn ʿAbbās fell seriously ill and gathered his sons and family. He said, "I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'Whoever performs Hajj from Makkah on foot until he returns to it, for every step he has seven hundred good deeds of the Ḥaram.'" A man asked, "What are the good deeds of the Ḥaram, O Messenger of God?" He said, "Each good deed is a thousand good deeds."
