✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a stray camel. He said: 'What do you have to do with it? It has its own water-skin and its own shoes. It eats trees and drinks water until its owner finds it.' Then he was asked about a stray sheep, and he said: 'It is for you, or for your brother, or for the wolf.' And he was asked about the mountain treasure, and he said: 'He must pay its value and a like amount, and lashes as a deterrent.'
