وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنِّي لَأَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ خَلْفِي وَأَنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَأُخَفِّفُ صَلَاتِي مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تُفْتَتَنَ أُمُّهُ
Translation

✧ I hear the crying of a child behind me while I am in prayer, so I shorten my prayer for fear that his mother may be distressed.
