حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو حُمَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو قُرَّةَ مُوسَى بْنُ طَارِقٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

    يرويه سهيل بن أبي صالح واختلف عنه فرواه أبو قرة عن الثوري عن سهيل عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة وتابعه خارجة بن مصعب عن سهيل والصحيح عن سهيل عن عامر بن عبد الله بن الزبير عن عمرو بن سليم عن جابر وغير سهيل يرويه عن عامر عن عمرو بن سليم أبي قتادة وهو الصواب

    machine translationIt is narrated by Suhayl b. Abī Ṣāliḥ, and there is disagreement about it from him. Abū Qurrah narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, and Khārijah b. Muṣʿab followed him in this from Suhayl. The sound version from Suhayl is from ʿĀmir b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Zubayr, from ʿAmr b. Sulaym, from Jābir. Others besides Suhayl narrate it from ʿĀmir, from ʿAmr b. Sulaym, from Abū Qatādah, and that is the correct one.
