حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْمُرِّيُّ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ صَاعِدٍ الصُّورِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ وَالْأَعْمَشُ وَمَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ:

لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: تَبًّا لِلذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ، فَقَالُوا: أَيُّ الْمَالِ نَتَّخِذُ ؟ فَقَالَ: " قَلْبًا شَاكِرًا، وَلِسَانًا ذَاكِرًا، وَزَوْجَةً صَالِحَةً

✧ When the verse 'And those who hoard gold and silver' was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Perish gold and silver!" They said: What wealth should we acquire? He said: "A thankful heart, a remembering tongue, and a righteous wife."
