حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ إِشْكَابَ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ الْكِلَابِيُّ قَالَ: نَا الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ:

كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ فِي الثَّوْبِ، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ طُهْرِهَا غَسَلَتْ مَا أَصَابَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّتْ فِيهِ، وَإِنَّ إِحْدَاكُنَّ الْيَوْمَ تُفَرِّغُ خَادِمَهَا لِغَسْلِ ثِيَابِهَا يَوْمَ طُهْرِهَا

✧ One of us would menstruate in a garment, and when it was the day of her purity she would wash what had been affected by it, then pray in it. And one of you today frees her servant to wash her clothes on the day of her purity.
