✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ prayed his night prayer, he would perform witr, then he would come to his bed. When the caller announced the prayer, he would jump up from his bed. If he was in a state of major ritual impurity, he would pour water over himself; and if he was not, he would perform ablution for prayer, then come and pray.
