حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ، قَالَ: نَا طَاهِرُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ نِزَارٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ:
أَصَبْتُ دِينَارَيْنِ، فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِمَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: عَرِّفْهَا حَوْلًا، فَعَرَّفْتُهَا حَوْلًا، ثُمَّ رَدَدْتُهُمَا إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: " احْفَظْ وِعَاءَهَا، وَوِكَاءَهَا، وَعَدَدَهَا، وَاسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا، فَإِذَا جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَارْدُدْهَا إِلَيْهِ

✧ I found two dinars, so I brought them to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: 'Make them known for a year.' So I made them known for a year, then I brought them back to him. He said: 'Keep their container, their tie, and their number, and make use of them. When their owner comes, return them to him.'
