حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى الْمَوْصِلِيُّ أَبُو يَعْلَى، قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ: نَا بَشَّارُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ: نَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّ الْخَصْلَةَ الصَّالِحَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الرَّجُلِ، فَيُصْلِحُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهَا عَمَلَهُ كُلَّهُ، وَطُهُورُ الرَّجُلِ لِصَلَاتِهِ يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ بِهِ ذُنُوبَهُ، وَتَبْقَى صَلَاتُهُ نَافِلَةً لَهُ

✧ Indeed, a good quality may be in a man, and through it Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sets right all of his deeds. And a man’s purification for his prayer: Allah expiates his sins by it, and his prayer remains as a supererogatory act for him.
