al-Mu'jam al-Awsat 187

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ: أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ أَبَا عُشَّانَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ. عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ جَمَعَ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابَهُ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، كُتِبَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَشْرُ حَسَنَاتٍ، وَلَمْ يَزَلْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ، وَكُتِبَ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ، مِنْ حِينِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ

✧ Whoever performs wudu and does it well, then gathers his clothes, then goes out to the mosque, ten good deeds are recorded for him with every step. He remains in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer, and he is recorded among those who pray from the time he leaves his house until he returns.
