حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيِّبِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ. عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:

ذُكِرَ فِي زَمَانِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَسْفٌ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، يُخْسَفُ بِأَرْضٍ فِيهَا الْمُسْلِمُونَ ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، إِذَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِهَا الْخُبُثَ

Translation

✧ In the time of the Prophet ﷺ, a sinking of the earth was mentioned toward the east. Some people said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will the earth swallow a land in which there are Muslims?' He said: 'Yes, if the majority of its inhabitants are wicked.'
