وَعَنِ ابْنِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، زَوْجُ فَاطِمَةَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ زَوْجِي. فَأَسْكَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَلِيًّا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: زَوْجُكِ يُحِبُّهُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، وَيُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، وَأَزِيدُكِ: لَوْ قَدْ دَخَلْتِ الْجَنَّةَ، فَرَأَيْتِ مَنْزِلَهُ، لَمْ تَرَيْ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِي يَعْلُوهُ فِي مَنْزِلَتِهِ

Translation

✧ Umm Kulthum came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the husband of Fatimah is better than my husband.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent for a while, then said: 'Your husband is loved by Allah and His Messenger, and he loves Allah and His Messenger. I will tell you more: if you enter Paradise and see his station, you will not see any of my companions surpassing him in rank.'
