حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ النَّسَائِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْبِسْطَامِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ قَالَ: نَا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ قَالَ: نَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ. عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ:

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَسِيرٍ، فَخَفَقَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ، فَأَخَذَ رَجُلٌ سَهْمًا مِنْ كِنَانَتِهِ، فَانْتَبَهَ الرَّجُلُ، فَفَزِعَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يُرَوِّعَ مُسْلِمًا

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey when a man dozed off on his mount. Another man took an arrow from his quiver, and the man woke up startled. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It is not lawful for a Muslim to frighten another Muslim."
