حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْثَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ بُرْدٍ أَخِي يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةً، ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ قِيرَاطٌ، وَمَنْ مَشَى مَعَ الْجِنَازَةِ حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ، كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ قِيرَاطَانِ، وَالْقِيرَاطُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ

✧ Whoever follows a funeral and prays over it has a qirat of reward, and whoever walks with the funeral until it is buried has two qirats of reward. A qirat is like Mount Uhud.
