حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: قَرَأْنَا عَلَى مَعْقِلٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ. عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

طَلَّقْتُ امْرَأَتِي عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ طَامِثٌ، فَحَدَّثَ بِذَلِكَ عُمَرُ رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَرَدَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ امْرَأَتَهُ، فَلَمَّا طَهُرَتْ، قَالَ: طَلِّقْ إِنْ شِئْتَ، أَوْ أَمْسِكْ

Translation

✧ I divorced my wife during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ while she was menstruating. ʿUmar mentioned that to the Messenger of God, and the Messenger of God ﷺ returned to ʿAbd Allāh his wife. When she became pure, he said: "Divorce her if you wish, or keep her."
