✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited a group of the Ansar in their home. They slaughtered a sheep for him and prepared food from it. He took some meat to eat, chewed it for a while, and could not swallow it. He said: 'What is the matter with this meat?' They said: 'It is a sheep belonging to so-and-so. We slaughtered it so that its owner would come and we could satisfy him with its meat.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Feed it to the prisoners.'
