نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَصْقَلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو النَّهَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَسْلَمَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ:

جَعَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى أُسَارَى بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ، فَكُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى فَرْجِ الْغُلَامِ، فَإِنْ رَأَيْتُهُ قَدْ أَنْبَتَ ضَرَبْتُ عُنُقَهُ، وَإِذَا لَمْ أَرَهُ قَدْ أَنْبَتَ جَعَلْتُهُ فِي غَنَائِمِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ put me in charge of the captives of Banu Qurayzah. I would look at the boy's private part; if I saw that he had grown pubic hair, I struck his neck, and if I did not see that he had grown pubic hair, I put him among the spoils of the Muslims.
