✧ "Is the Mahdi from among us or from other than us, O Messenger of God?" He said: "Rather, from us. Through us God will seal [the religion] as through us He opened [it], and through us they will be rescued from polytheism, and through us God will unite their hearts after clear enmity, just as through us He united their hearts after the enmity of polytheism." Ali said: "Will they be believers or disbelievers?" He said: "[They will be] put to trial and a disbeliever."
