حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَحْرَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ خُوَارٍ قَالَ: نَا عَائِذُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ. عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَالِسًا، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى جُحْرٍ بِحِيَالِ وَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ كَانَتِ الْعُسْرَةُ تَجِيءُ حَتَّى تَدْخُلَ هَذَا الْجُحْرَ، لَجَاءَتِ الْيُسْرَةُ حَتَّى تُخْرِجَهَا، ثُمَّ تَلَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting, and he looked at a hole in front of his face and said: 'If hardship were to come until it entered this hole, ease would come until it brought it out.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: 'So, surely with hardship comes ease. Surely with hardship comes ease.'
