حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَحْرَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ: نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ، قَالَ:

فِي كِيسِي هَذَا حَدِيثٌ، لَوْ حَدَّثْتُكُمُوهُ لَرَجَمْتُمُونِي، ثُمَّ، قَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ لَا أَبْلُغَنَّ رَأْسَ السِّتِّينَ ". قَالُوا: وَمَا رَأْسُ السِّتِّينَ ؟ قَالَ: " إِمَارَةُ الصِّبْيَانِ، وَبَيْعُ الْحُكْمِ، وَكَثْرَةُ الشُّرَطِ، وَالشَّهَادَةُ بِالْمَعْرِفَةِ، وَيَتَّخِذُونَ الْأَمَانَةَ غَنِيمَةً، وَالصَّدَقَةَ مَغْرَمًا، وَنَشْوٌ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُرْآنَ مَزَامِيرَ " قَالَ حَمَّادٌ: " وَأَظُنُّهُ، قَالَ: وَالتَّهَاوُنُ بِالدَّمِ

✧ In this purse of mine is a hadith; if I were to tell it to you, you would stone me. Then he said: 'O Allah, may I not reach the age of sixty.' They said: 'What is the age of sixty?' He said: 'The rule of boys, the selling of judgment, the proliferation of security forces, testimony based on acquaintance, taking trust as booty and charity as a fine, and a generation that takes the Quran as musical instruments.' Hammad said: 'And I think he said: and the belittling of blood.'
