حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، يَقُولُ:

قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: كَيْفَ أَهْلُ بَدْرٍ فِيكُمْ ؟ قَالَ: هُمْ أَفَاضِلُنَا. فَقَالَ جِبْرِيلُ: وَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ بَدْرًا فَهُمْ أَفَاضِلُنَا

✧ Gabriel ﷺ said to the Messenger of God ﷺ: "How are the people of Badr among you?" He said: "They are our most excellent." Gabriel said: "And whoever of the angels witnessed Badr, they are our most excellent."
