حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي قَالَ: نَا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَامِعٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مُضَرِّسٍ الطَّائِيُّ قَالَ:

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ، وَالنَّاسُ حَوْلَهُ - فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أَتَيْتُ مِنْ جَبَلِ طَيِّئٍ، وَإِنِّي قَدْ آذَيْتُ نَفْسِي وَرَاحِلَتِي، فَلَا وَاللهِ، مَا تَرَكْتُ حَبْلًا إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ. فَهَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مَعَنَا صَلَاةَ الْغَدَاةِ بِجَمْعٍ، وَقَدْ أَفَاضَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا، فَقَدْ قَضَى تَفَثَهُ، وَتَمَّ حَجُّهُ

✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at Jam (Muzdalifah), and the people were around him. I said: O Messenger of Allah, I have come from the mountain of Tayyi, and I have exhausted myself and my mount. By Allah, I did not leave any hill except that I stood upon it. Is there any Hajj for me? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever catches the dawn prayer with us at Jam and had departed before that from Arafat, whether by night or day, has completed his rites and his Hajj is complete.
