حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ: نَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ. عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ " أَمَرَ بِرَأْسِ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ ابْنَيْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِمَا، فَحُلِقَ ثُمَّ تَصَدَّقَ بِوَزْنِهِ فِضَّةً وَلَمْ يَجِدْ ذِبْحًا

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ ordered the shaving of the heads of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the two sons of 'Ali b. Abi Talib, on their seventh day. So their heads were shaved, and he gave in charity the weight of it in silver, and he did not find a sacrificial animal.
