حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
لَمَّا وَجَّهَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ إِلَى الْحَبَشَةِ، شَيَّعَهُ، وَزَوَّدَهُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ: اللَّهُمَّ الْطُفْ لِي فِي تَيْسِيرِ كُلِّ عَسِيرٍ، فَإِنَّ تَيْسِيرَ كُلِّ عَسِيرٍ عَلَيْكَ يَسِيرٌ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ الْيُسْرَ وَالْمُعَافَاةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dispatched Jaʿfar b. Abī Ṭālib to Abyssinia, he bade him farewell and supplied him with these words: “O Allah, grant me gentleness in making every difficult thing easy, for making every difficult thing easy is easy for You; and I ask You for ease and well-being in this world and the Hereafter.”
