أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ, قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّصْرَ آبَادِيَّ,
يَقُولُ: " مَنْ طَلَبَ مِنَّا مَالَنَا أَعْطَيْنَا سِوَاهُ وَشَغَلْنَاهُ بِخِدْمَتِنَا, وَمَنْ طَلَبْنَا صَبَبْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْبَلَاءَ صَبًّا امْتِحَانًا وَاخْتِبَارًا "
