أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ, نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ, نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ, حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْجُنَيْدِ, حَدَّثَنِي النَّضْرُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ يَحْيَى,
قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّاجِيُّ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ, الرَّاضِي يَسْأَلُ؟ قَالَ: " يُعَرِّضُ ", قَالَ: مِثْلُ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ؟ قَالَ: " مِثْلُ قَوْلِ أَيُّوبَ {مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ} [الأنبياء: 83] "
