أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ السُّكَّرِ بِبَغْدَادَ، قَالَ: أَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَزْهَرِ، قَالَ: نَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ غَسَّانَ الْغَلَابِيُّ، قَالَ: أَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ لَاحِقٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السِّخْتِيَانِيِّ، إِنَّ رَجُلًا صَحِبَهُ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَاشْتَكَى الرَّجُلُ فِي بَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ فَأَقَامَ عَلَيْهِ أَيُّوبُ حَتَّى بَرَأَ،
وَقَالَ: " أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَدَعَ الْحَجَّ وَأَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً "
