أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: أَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هَانِئٍ النَّخَعِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ،
قَالَ: قِيلَ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَنْ أَكْرَمُ النَّاسِ عَلَيْكَ؟ قَالَ: " جَلِيسِي الَّذِي يَتَخَطَّى النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ إِلَيَّ، لَوِ اسْتَطَعْتُ أَنْ لَا يَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ لَفَعَلْتُ "
