أَنْشَدَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، أَنْشَدَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُظَاهِرٍ، أَنْشَدَنِي الْمُطَرِّفِيُّ لِبَعْضِهِمْ:
" [البحر البسيط] لَيْسَ الْكَرِيمُ الَّذِي إِنْ ذَلَّ صَاحِبُهُ... بَثَّ الَّذِي كَانَ مِنْ أَسْرَارِهِ عَلِمَا إِنَّ الْكَرِيمَ الَّذِي تَبْقَى مَوَدَّتُهُ... وَيَحْفَظُ السِّرَّ إِنْ صَافَى وَإِنْ صَرَمَا"
