أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ الزَّاهِدُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الصُّوفِيَّ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مُعَاذٍ الرَّازِيَّ،
يَقُولُ: " لَا تَرْجُوَنَّ نَصِيحَةَ مَنْ قَدْ خَانَ نَفْسَهُ، وَلَا تَجْلِسْ مَعَ مَنْ تَحْتَاجُ أَنْ تُجَالِسَهُ بِالتَّوَقِّي "
