He said: "During the time of the plague, there was a man who used to go to the graveyard and attend the funeral prayers. When evening came, he would stand at the gate of the graveyards and say: 'May God comfort your loneliness, have mercy on your estrangement, pass over your misdeeds, and accept your good deeds.' He would add nothing to these words. That man said: One night evening came and I went back to my family and did not go to the graveyards. He said: While I was asleep, suddenly there was a great multitude of people who had come to me. I said: 'Who are you and what do you need?' They said: 'We are the people of the graveyards.' I said: 'What brought you?' They said: 'You had accustomed us to a gift from you when you returned to your family.' I said: 'And what is it?' He said: 'The supplications that you used to make.' He said: I said: 'Then I will return to that.' He said: So I never abandoned it after that."
