أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدُوسٍ نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ نا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ
أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ فِيهَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا فَانْصَرَفَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ لِحَاجَةٍ فَضَرَبَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَنْكِبِي وَقَالَ أَتَدْرِي بِكَمِ انْصَرَفَ هَذَا؟ قُلْتُ لَا أَدْرِي قَالَ انْصَرَفَ بِقِيرَاطٍ فَقُلْتُ: ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، وَمَا الْقِيرَاطُ؟ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَانْصَرَفَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ مِنْهَا كَانَ لَهُ قِيرَاطٌ، فَإِنِ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْهَا كَانَ لَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ، وَالْقِيرَاطُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ فِي مِيزَانِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَتَعْجَبُ مِنْ قَوْلِي مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ، حَقٌّ لِعَظَمَةِ رَبِّنَا أَنْ يَكُونَ قِيرَاطُهُ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ وَيَوْمُهُ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ

He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever prays over a funeral and leaves before it is finished will have a qīrāṭ; and if he waits until it is finished he will have two qīrāṭs, and the qīrāṭ is like Uḥud in his scale on the Day of Resurrection." Then he said: "Are you astonished at my saying 'like Uḥud'? It is right, given the greatness of our Lord, that His qīrāṭ be like Uḥud, and His Day is like a thousand years."
