أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، نا خَلَفُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ،
يَقُولُ: " وَجَدْتُ قَلْبِيَ يَصْلُحُ بِمَكَّةَ، وَالْمَدِينَةِ مَعَ قَوْمٍ غُرَبَاءَ أَصْحَابِ بُيُوتٍ وَعِبَاءٍ "
