أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أنا أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْكِنَانِيُّ، بِالْكُوفَةِ سَنَةَ تِسْعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ وَمِائَتَيْنِ، قَالَ: نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَثَّامِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْعَامِرِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ،
قَالَ: " لَا تَسْأَلِ الرَّجُلَ عَمَّا فِي قَلْبِهِ لَكَ، وَلَكِنِ انْظُرْ مَا فِي قَلْبِكَ لَهُ، فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ "
