وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّرَّاجُ، قَالَ: أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ غَانِمِ بْنِ حَمُّوَيْهِ الطَّوِيلُ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ، قَالَ: نا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ، قَالَ: نا ابْنُ عُلَاثَةَ، قَالَ: نا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ،
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " مَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدٌ عَبْدًا فِي اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا أَكْرَمَهُ اللهُ، وَإِنَّ مِنْ إِكْرَامِ اللهِ إِكْرَامَ ذِي الشَّيْبَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ، وَالْإِمَامِ الْمُقْسِطِ، وَحَامِلِ الْقُرْآنِ غَيْرِ الْغَالِي فِيهِ، وَلَا الْجَافِي، وَلَا الْمُسْتَكْثِرِ بِهِ "
