وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَبَّانَ بْنِ حَمْدَوَيْهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْجُبَّائِيُّ، إِمْلَاءً قَالَ: نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْدَهْ، قَالَ: نا بَكْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، قَالَ: نا عَائِذُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ،
يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمَلَأِ تَهَادُوا فَإِنَّ الْهَدِيَّةَ تَذْهَبَ بِالسَّخِيمَةِ، وَلَوْ دُعِيتُ إِلَى كُرَاعٍ أَوْ ذِرَاعٍ - شَكَّ عَائِذٌ - لَأَجَبْتُ، وَلَوْ أُهْدِيَ إِلَيَّ كُرَاعٌ أَوْ ذِرَاعٌ - شَكَّ عَائِذٌ - لَقَبِلْتُ ".
