أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، قَالَ: أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، قَالَ: نا الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ وَهُوَ عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: نا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ،
قَالَتْ: " مَرَّ بِنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، وَنَحْنُ فِي نِسْوَةٍ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا ".

رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ. قَالَ الْحَلِيمِيُّ: " يُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يُقَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَخْشَى الْفِتْنَةَ، فَلِذَلِكَ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِنَّ، فَمَنْ وَثِقَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ بِالتَّمَاسُكِ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْمَنْ نَفْسَهُ فَلَا يُسَلِّمْ، فَإِنَّ الْحَدِيثَ رُبَّمَا جَرَّ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا، والصَّمْتُ أَسْلَمُ "
