أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، قَالَ: أنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ، وَأَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ - فَرَّقَهُمَا -، قَالَا: نا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ مُحَمَّدٌ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ لَقِيَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ، فَإِنْ حَالَتْ بَيْنَهُمَا شَجَرَةٌ أَوْ حَائِطٌ أَوْ حَجَرٌ، ثُمَّ لَقِيَهُ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ "
