أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ: نا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ: أنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: أنا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ أَبِي بَزَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ،
أَنَّهُ أَبْصَرَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَتَى عَلَى زَنْجِيٍّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَجَعَلَ الزَّنْجِيُّ لَا يَفْقَهُ، أَوْ لَا يَدْرِي مَا يَقُولُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ طُمْطُمَانِيٌّ، قَالَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ: يَعْنِي شَدِيدَ الْعُجُومَةِ، جِيءَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْأَوَّلِ فِي السُّفُنِ، قَالَ: أَكَذَاكَ؟ ثُمَّ قَالَ: " إِنِّي لِأَخْرُجَ مِنْ أَهْلِي مَا أَخْرُجُ إِلَّا لِأُسَلِّمَ وَيُسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ "
