He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Beware! Every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler is a shepherd over the people and he is responsible for his flock; the man is a shepherd over the people of his household and he is responsible for his flock; the wife of a man is a shepherdess over the house of her husband and his children, and she is responsible for them; and the slave of a man is a shepherd over the property of his master and he is responsible for it.
