✧ Abandoning anger, suppressing rage, and pardoning when able; Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: "and those who restrain anger and pardon people; and Allah loves the doers of good"

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَدِيبُ، نا الصُّولِيُّ، نا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، نا الْأَصْمَعِيُّ،
قَالَ: قِيلَ لِخَالِدِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ: أَيُّ الْإِخْوَانِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ؟ قَالَ: " مَنْ سَدَّدَ خَلَلِي، وَغَفَرَ زَلَلِي، وَقَبِلَ عِلَلِي "
